NACAA Futuring Committee
Dear NACAA members:
The 2006 NACAA Futuring Committee Report presents issues, concerns and recommendations for consideration by NACAA leadership to enhance and improve our organization . These findings come from a 16-month process of data and opinion gathering from members, Life Members, committee members, state association leaders and others. The recommendations made in this report are only the start of a dialogue that must occur and continue within NACAA to make sure that we remain a relevant and purposeful organization. It is the responsibility of every member of the organization to make sure that this happens. Only through engagement, discussion and consensus building will NACAA remain a premier professional improvement organization.
The report will be presented at the Business Meeting of the NACAA Annual Meeting and Professional Improvement Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Tuesday July 25, 2006. I encourage you to read the report, discuss it with fellow members in your state and beyond, and become part of the discussion. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact your regional representatives on the committee.
