Abstract

The objective of this video was to educate and introduce new extension agents to the many aspects of Ag and Natural Resources.  This particular video is the Environmental Horticulture Production Overview of the Florida Industry and is one of many multipart videos being shown to new extension agents at the University of Florida in the onboarding process.  The purpose is to summarize the Florida ornamental industry and give a brief introduction to production methods and issues that producers face.  The video was created in the spring/summer and distributed to the class instructor for incorporation into curricula. Viewing numbers have not been released.  The author was responsible for segment selection, site selection, content, script, and voice-over.  The creators used in-house filming equipment, video editing, and recording software to produce the video.  Here is a link to the video: ANR 101 4K.mp4
