Abstract

Today we face a problem, not of information scarcity, but an over abundance of information. Getting useful online information to flow to you is critical to keep pace with the explosion of online knowledge. \r\n\r\nWe often find reliable and interesting sources of information, but find it difficult to keep returning to see what’s been posted recently. RSS feeds and feed readers help deliver up-to-date content from the sources you choose. This session will explain what an RSS feed is, and how you can use a feed reader to aggregate all these updates in one, easy to read, place - and keep them out of your inbox.\r\n\r\nIn this session, we will give examples of typical feeds an educator might want to keep up with.
