Citation Statement
Yvette is a dedicated Extension agent who is consistently there to help her clientele and fellow agents. She teaches Best Management Practices to protect the ecologically sensitive Indian River Lagoon and supports agriculture through food system programs. Yvette has taken on leadership roles within FACAA and the UF/IFAS Initiative teams, and she is often sought out to serve on local committees. She has garnered over $150,000 in candidate allocated grant funds for her programs.
